Asparagus plumosus, or climbing Fern, of course is not a fern at all but a relative of edible asparagus. It has feathery plumes of evergreen foliage with red berries that will grow several feet long. Asparagus will take a lot of sun but give you a fern like affect. Zone 10. NEW 2012.
