Tradescantia zebrina variegated, also called Wandering Jew is a very popular houseplant. Similar to the common zebrina, it has 'zebra stripes' with more greens and silvers than purple.  It has many uses outside, as a bedding plant or inside as a nice hanging basket or container plant. It is hardy to zone 8.
